Trestle Creek Community Garden Kudo’s
We are coming to the harvest time of our garden, which we, at Trestle Creek‘s “Friendship Center”—offer our immeasurable gratitude to our garden mentor, Akasha Reiner. Akasha’s precious and dedicated presence has moved us. Each and every Wednesday since April, Akasha offers her time and expertise — to guide our children and families with ‘planting seeds’, learning about the garden care, and learning more about the magic of ‘growing’. I am deeply moved by her dedication to our mission — as well, her generosity of mind, body and spirit — for adding to our wealth of sustainability at Trestle Creek.
We acknowledge and applaud Master Gardener, Diane Green, for her consultation and ‘mapping and planning’ stage of our garden. THANK YOU ALL!
Cedar Hills Church for generously donating time and materials on “Serve Sandpoint Day” toward the following Harmony House projects:
- painting
- installing 2 new windows
- making the community bathroom handicap accessible
Staples for donating brochures toward the Taste of Nepal benefit.
Wells Fargo in Sandpoint for thinking of us.
The Home Depot for donating time and materials toward the Harmony House fence project.
Curt Hagan for donating gravel to fill and level the alley driveway.
