Supportive Housing Manager Tamie Martinsen has been working with the Idaho Volunteer Lawyer Program to establish Bonner and Boundary county’s first Legal Assistance Resource Connection (LARC).

This new community asset will allow community members to have free access to local attorneys who will provide guidance and assistance in navigating the courts system. It will also assist community members in deciding whether or not their legal issue suggests hiring an attorney or whether they can handle the issue themselves with minimal assistance.

A $5 refundable deposit reserves a 20-minute appointment. Appointments will be held twice monthly from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month.

Appointments will take place at the United Methodist Church located at Boyer and Cedar Street, near downtown Sandpoint.
