TIPS Domestic Violence Services Programs: 208-263-0658
Domestic Abuse Education Program (DAEP)
It is universally recognized that intervention and change for perpetrators of domestic violence is essential to stop the abuse. DAEP is a batterer treatment program based on the Duluth Model for domestic violence intervention. DAEP is the only batterer treatment program in Bonner and Boundary counties that meets state standards and has been operated by TIPS since 2001. In most cases the courts order those convicted of domestic violence into this program. It is also available to anyone who recognizes they have a problem with domestic violence. This is a 52 week program that centers on accountability, education, and the process of change. For more information call TIPS Domestic Violence Services Office at 263-0658.
