Leadership Sandpoint gives Blue Haven a Facelift

Leadership Sandpoint chose the TIPS “Blue Haven” facility as the recipient for a much needed renovation project. During the spring, they organized a fund raiser to secure funds for the project along with various donations from local suppliers. During the summer, they put forth the “sweat equity” to bring about the Blue Haven transformation. The facelift came in the form of interior and exterior improvements including:

power-washing siding
scraping
caulking
remodeling/reinforcing porches
installing metal roofing and trim on garden shed
funding the re-working and shingling of the deteriorating roof over the office area (work done by Son Construction)
reworking a portion of the fire escape
painting the interior hallway
painting garden shed
painting parking bumpers, lines and safety zones
painting all exterior porches and fire escape
