Mission Statement

The mission of Transitions in Progress Services (T.I.P.S.) is to help homeless families and victims of domestic violence develop self sufficiency and improve the quality of their lives.

Core Values:

Inherent with the values of Transitions in Progress Services, Inc. is the understanding that clients, staff, volunteers and donors must be treated with fairness and honesty and that the programs are administered with consistent high standards of ethical and moral conduct. All staff and volunteers are asked to sign a Values Statement.

Integrity

To fulfill this mission, it is expected that staff members and volunteers make a positive difference in the lives of others. Members of the staff and volunteers uphold the values of the organization and perform the work consistent with the policies and procedures of the organization.

Respect

T.I.P.S. is an environment where each person is treated with dignity and respect, while being given the opportunity to grow, achieve and attain his or her full potential. It is understood that clients come to T.I.P.S. in crisis and/or with a history of neglect and abuse. Our clients need our attention and understanding of their special individual needs.

Quality

All T.I.P.S. programs strive for creativity that reflects the best, most innovative thinking of the community and its stakeholders.

Accountability

T.I.P.S. is accountable for the wise, prudent and effective use of all funds contributed by grants as well as those received from the community and various benefactors who, by contributing, have made a commitment to a better future for our clients. It is our intention to do so in a completely transparent way for the benefit of our clients, community, stakeholders and benefactors.
